seems funny you do a search on either track you get a ton of AMA stuff but not much of USAC /ARCA makes you go hmmmmm

They sure as hell care enough to give it a whirl. There is a certain degree of prestige equated with winning a race at places like the Indy Mile or Springfield or Du Quoin. Those places are hallowed ground in the minds of those who actually have a mind, unlike you.Originally posted by old fan View Postand guess what most the dirt model guys don't care either besides most of them probably fell asleep with 300 lb tank
Why, pray tell, would you do a search of tracks that you believe are no good and unworthy of your time and money? Now that REALLY makes you go hmmmmm! LOL!Originally posted by old fan View Postseems funny you do a search on either track you get a ton of AMA stuff but not much of USAC /ARCA makes you go hmmmmm

the dirt late model guys are more interested then winning the n/s 100 the world 100 knoxville nationals and the such doesn't seem odd that drivers like davanport erb etc have no interest in the mile races if its such hallowed grounds then why onlr 23 cars and 90 percent of them are no bodies i have a friend of mine that goes and makes a big deal yeah for him I can why but me the champ cars can put on a good show but has lost its luster with drivers like hewitt and vogler and drivers of that era gone i just can 's see paying that price of a ticket plus admission for what you get , and I didn't say the tracks are not worthy but the product on the track is not worthy if you love going go for it as far as me I will find somewhere else that weeknd.Last edited by old fan; 10-03-2016, 07:13 AM.

litey, you admit you don't know what you're talking about then you get all analytic about drivers priorities.
The ticket prices for the State Fair races are very reasonable. Admission was the same for the POWRi show at Fairbury as it was to watch 100 miles of racing at the Fair's.

That's because you're and ignoramus! LOL!! Arguably the best generic dirt late model driver ever tried his hand at racing a Cup style stock car at Springfield and got his ass handed to him, big time!! LOL!Originally posted by old fan View Postreally including the price get in the fair and I would rather a see a race on a short track of any kind than a mile but what ever floats your boat

So, again I ask, why can't everyone like their own style of racing and not get CIRF's dander up... both ole fan and I have said repeatedly "If that's what you like, go for it" just not our cup of tea... simple as that...

Muddy ol' buddy, I don't get my dander up over what racing you like or don't care for. It's only when you say things that are patently untrue in an attempt to disparage and demean a certain class of racing that we have to set the record straight.
