    The Silence is Deafing

    So, I guess I'll ask it ...

All those who support Trump and believe, without hard evidence, the outcome from the 2020 US Presidential election was fraudulent; are you cool with the insurrection and sedition that took place at the US Capitol yesterday?

And, before you say, "Those people are Patriots not criminals," by US Code, the actions taken yesterday run afoul of Federal statute:

(Rebellion or Insurrection) 18 USC 2383 - Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof,

(Seditious Conspiracy) 18 USC 2384 - If two or more persons ...conspire... by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States.

welcome to the abyss. if you are looking for a reasonable discussion you have come to the wrong place. instead you opened yourself up to name calling, personal attacks, and trolling.

might i add the following link to what donald trump was guilty of yesterday:

Thx for the disclaimer. I've been around these parts long enough though, I know when the crazy gets to be too much and have been threatened with physical violence more than once (over an opinion smh!). So, I just put it down and come back another day to try and understand another's mindset and where/how their beliefs formed.

Giuliani, and likely Trump, also committed a crime under 18 USC 2383 through inciting violence against the government.

Totally staged. Lack of security, people formerly documented participating in blm and antifa protests leading it. Proven, catch up.

          Ok, but you:

          A) Failed answer the question;
          B) Have no source to support the opinion given; and
          C) Deflected/Used Whataboutism.

Regardless of it was staged or true Trump supporters (which the guy in the Pelosi desk picture is known to be - https://www.abc27.com/news/man-photo...ump-supporter/) was this act appropriate?

I did; the result of which lead to a rating of MOSTLY FALSE on the truth meter for the insurrection being staged by Antifa agitators. (See pic post above).

                And thx for the answer.

So, now is it time to work as a United States again?

No more appropriate than the known antifa members having pallets of bricks delivered to neighborhoods ahead of their rioting and agitating in the name of peace........and free tvs.

Can't be appalled at one and not the other.......sorry man, doesn't work that way.

There was some election fraud for sure, but not anywhere near enough to sway the results of election.

The chance that Trump ends up in jail is minimal. He’s out of office, that was the only goal for any of this stuff from the jump. The circus an actual trial would cause would pale in comparison to what happened yesterday. Plus, he’s a billionaire. There are no rules for billionaires.

The kicker to all of this hullabaloo is that in reality, outside of the bluster of social media and the sh*tshow of American news media, Biden’s policies won’t be drastically different from Trump’s. Trump was never far right, as he’s been painted in popular circles, and Biden’s never been far left, as he’s been described in other popular circles. Both men are extremely moderate as far as their actual politics.

The sky isn’t falling. The sky wasn’t falling four years ago. It wasn’t falling four years before that, etc...
