      That's what the world is.

Read into that TIME article. It shows you just how little shareholders care about their workers and consumers. By lowering taxes, all you are doing is losing money as a government while putting that money into private companies, where a very small percentage gets passed on to the workers. They don't lower their prices.

You might want to read my response to the article. It was entirely misleading.

Pete is a centrist. He aligns with moderate democrats.

The problem is, in such a 1ucked political landscape, people's political compasses are way off balance.

Pete is a democratic capitalist. He's said so himself. He understands the need to balance the power of unions and businesses. He is fiscally conservative. He has spoken out about the debt. He wants to prioritize education. Something this country desperately needs.

I’d agree with that. Bullish is another way to put it. That's where you and Trump are exactly alike.

IMHO, most of the time your written posting mannerisms have you coming off very rude, arrogant, demanding, one-sided, and in an a$$hole’ish, very bullish, know-it-all manner. Not because I might disagree with you either, it’s just you’re very smart aleck and rude. Your postings back to Morgs are the worst. You could tone it down a notch and it would serve you better on possibly more, or better responses from myself and maybe others. You’re just not fun to post with. I don’t expect everyone to agree with my point of view or my beliefs, value set, or especially the way I might perceive something — but you DO in the way you post. It's like “read it, I wrote it for you, you’re an idiot, believe me, that's the way it is.”

Thirty plus years ago I would have been more natured to post back to you in a diatribe rude manner, with factual links and sources then tell you to fu%$off in a round about manner in the end. As I’ve grown much older, I’ve grown much wiser and selective in posting back to persons like yourself. I just don’t have it in me any more to post back like that — or take the time too.

I’ve already posted numerous links on the failures of Mayor Pete, they are there for you to read if you wish. Or not.

I don't intend to come off that way, and if I do I apologize.

The problem I have, is that I do a lot of work to ensure I understand how things work. I take the time to research various topics and understand the nuances of it. Every time I consume new information, be it from a Democratic or Republican source, I do my own work to verify statements and thought processes. No side gets it right 100% of the time, but I can assure you sincerely that the truth typically lies with the Democrats. It's not that Republicans beliefs and values are wrong, it's just that as a party they (and that includes supporters) tend to get the details of what's actually happening wrong. They'll provide examples of why they think a certain way, and I'll actually agree with them but more often than not it tends to be something that just isn't true or isn't happening. I think a good example is immigration. I agree that we shouldn't be letting in mass amounts of illegal immigrants. It's unreasonable to expect none, and there is economic benefit. The problem is, the level of illegal immigration was nothing like what Fox News will tell you. Our population of illegal immigrants has been largely the same since the end of the Bush presidency. If it was as bad as Fox News said it is, I would agree 100%, but it isn't.

Where I can get annoyed, and hence perhaps act in the way you describe, is because I put this effort in and usually get met with low effort responses that criticize my work. By low effort I mean they lack substance. I'm open to responses and criticisms of my work. I'm not perfect. Far from it. We can all learn from each others' views but that takes effort. When I have people come on here and attack my work with little substance, yeh, that gets a little annoying. I don't like to stereotype, but this tends to be an issue I see from Trump supporters. I find the effort Trump supporters put in to actually verify their beliefs is little compared to that of Dems, on average. It gets annoying when people cite Alex Jones as a source.

I don't mean to disrespect Morgs. I don't think less of him as a person. The reality is, much of what he says just isn't true or taken out of context and I've proven that. It's probably not his fault either. The new wave of right-wing media people tend to spread a lot of misinformation or tend to spread factual information out of context.

I would FAR more appreciate it if people that do respond cite quality sources or take the time to involve nuance into the responses.

Your final comment there also pokes at another issue I have. I don't think some of you are reading what I'm saying.

I'm not surprised and I doubt you'll believe me when you say this but TIME is considered by media bias fact checkers to be a Left-Leaning Factual source.

I can understand you not like the messenger, but they have provided sources for their information.

Your final comment there also pokes at another issue I have. I don't think some of you are reading what I'm saying.

I responded to the Pete Buttigieg Article.

You're fairly new to this forum, so with that —- you really wouldn't have liked it here with the first Trump administration. Or the Obama administration’s for that matter. It got fairly stupid, personal, and petty.

As for your post #27 as a whole. That said and understood. I now understand your mindset and where you are coming from from here forward. So thank you for the well thought out reply, yet think about this from “others” point of view if you would please, as we are talking about the word tone — So if I give you a PASS now that we all understand your mindset and position regarding your tone in posting, will you give Trump and all of his supporters a PASS as you have already known their tone position for a few years now. Think about that one for a while before you write and press enter. On second thought, don’t reply as that's rhetorical, but hopefully you get what I’m saying.

Regarding Fox News and illegal immigration —- Remove Fox News from your News source equation and please give me another example of what you are talking about news source wise. I removed Fox News from my truthful news source many a years ago. Try it, just pretend they don’t exist and move on. Might sound stupid, but you won't get all worked up about it like you do. So you know, I think all of today's news media is biased or skewed. Thus, I tend not to believe the Media as a whole. As for illegal immigration, no matter what or whose numbers you might read, Illegal immigration is out of control. Something needs to be done about it.

I read every word you type, more than once, vet it, source it, think about it, then type, think about it even more —- then hit enter.

I’ve fact checked or vetted Morgs in the past, very few times is he off base with what his point is. Right or wrong, I guess his postings intint are somewhat like yours —- if you think about it?

So you know, posting here is not work or a job. Try being more fun to post with, it's the back page of an internet forum for gosh sakes. No one comes back here any more anyway.
