As for your post #27 as a whole. That said and understood. I now understand your mindset and where you are coming from from here forward. So thank you for the well thought out reply, yet think about this from “others” point of view if you would please, as we are talking about the word tone — So if I give you a PASS now that we all understand your mindset and position regarding your tone in posting, will you give Trump and all of his supporters a PASS as you have already known their tone position for a few years now. Think about that one for a while before you write and press enter. On second thought, don’t reply as that's rhetorical, but hopefully you get what I’m saying.

Regarding Fox News and illegal immigration —- Remove Fox News from your News source equation and please give me another example of what you are talking about news source wise. I removed Fox News from my truthful news source many a years ago. Try it, just pretend they don’t exist and move on. Might sound stupid, but you won't get all worked up about it like you do. So you know, I think all of today's news media is biased or skewed. Thus, I tend not to believe the Media as a whole. As for illegal immigration, no matter what or whose numbers you might read, Illegal immigration is out of control. Something needs to be done about it.

I read every word you type, more than once, vet it, source it, think about it, then type, think about it even more —- then hit enter.

I’ve fact checked or vetted Morgs in the past, very few times is he off base with what his point is. Right or wrong, I guess his postings intint are somewhat like yours —- if you think about it?

So you know, posting here is not work or a job. Try being more fun to post with, it's the back page of an internet forum for gosh sakes. No one comes back here any more anyway.
The Fox News thing was a reference to most Trump supporters. Especially those middle-aged and above. Fox News has ruined this country. That's a big claim, I know, but I truly believe it. RFK Jr. has said the same thing before he become a beneficiary. The way of thinking portrayed on that program has become etched in the minds of many. Legitimately one of the worst things to happen to this country. When you have the biggest news program in the country containing the following, you have a problem: Conspiracy Theories, Pseudoscience, Propaganda, Poor Sources, Numerous Failed Fact Checks.

Walking away from it doesn't do anything because as long as it remains the most viewed program in the country, our democracy is highly questionable.

It's not that the media doesn't present factual information, because even some of the mainstream programs do. NBC and ABC tend to be the best in terms of factual reporting, with CNN trailing slightly behind. Those aren't my words. Those are the words of Media Bias Fact Check.

On immigration, my problem was is that it got weaponized by the right as being A HUGE issue during the Biden admin, when in reality our illegal immigrant population has remained pretty much the same, or at the very least certainly not to the level it was portrayed. The share of Mexicans among our illegal population actually declined. The number of encounters were skewed due to Trump's implementation of Title 42 during his first term, which led to a higher recidivism rate, inflating numbers. Now where the Biden admin was weak was in regards to the Caribbean and South America. Even still, the total number didn't go up significantly, especially given the circumstance relating to how the US recovered compared to the aforementioned countries who found themselves in turmoil. We still have a lower illegal population than we did under Bush. The immigrations systems are also long overdue for reform but Republicans haven't wanted to play ball. This isn't what Fox News will tell you, or any Republican outlets for that matter and there in lies the issue. It feels like the political landscape is not a debate on values but more so on what is actually happening and what isn't happening.

She's a moderate, yes. Not a centrist though, at least not in modern day US politics. She's actually an extremely effective senator in regards to passing legislation and she'd be a perfect senate leader. I think being able to coordinate the passing of legislation is something that is extremely valuable, especially in this climate.
