You just made an irrational assumption about the 7400 new workers by the way, because the previous stimulus if broken down proves what this administration does with your money.

Get your roadmap out Anthony and plot a course to Realville!!
If the people want to stop the rich from getting richer all they have to do is quit buying their products it's that simple.

If you take more from the poor they will not have any money left over to buy their products in the first place.

I see you STILL cannot answer the simple question. Why not? I specifically stated, "I am not advocating or asking for a redistribution of the money, I am asking a simple question about the differing contributions of worth to a corporation here." How is my 7,400 number irrational? Take (126,000,000+170,000,000)/40,000 = 7,400. Seems pretty tight to me and it was the simplest breakdown/example I could build.

I NEVER said NEW workers in this discussion. You are combining two differing conversations here. One was about the repatriation of assets versus using them to hire new workers; the one herein is asking about the of worth benefits provided to a corp and the associated earnings received by the contributor.

Excuse me? You said "they (the Republicans) let Clinton pass Glass Steagal" as though Clinton was the driving force behind it! Get real! Republicans were behind it, Republicans wrote it, passed it and handed it off to Clinton who didn't have any real ability to oppose it OOOPS THE GLASS STEAGEL WAS SIGNED IN 1933 THAT WOULD MAKE SLICK WILLIE QUITE OLD LOL.

Know what I don't get? Every time the discussion gets twisted into "taking money from the rich" when what people are really advocating is not giving so gawdam much to them every day like we do now.

There was. It all had to do with legislation that Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were responsible for. It was what caused the collapse that we still feel today. It was the reason that the housing market is still where it is today. The legislation forced banks to give loans to people that could not afford the loans and of course, those that made the loans also received commissions on those loans even though they knew they were bad loans. They were under regulation from the Democratic sponsored bill to make the loans whether they liked it or not. This is what is called the Sub Prime lending mortgages. There were three different loans. One set of loans adjusted their rates after two years (in 2007). The next bunch of loans adjusted after three years (in 2008) and the third group of loans adjusted after 5 years (in 2010). All of the adjustable rates went so high that most if not all of the people in these homes were completely under water with the new adjustable rates. Thank you Barney Frank and Chris Dodd for collapsing the economy.

                Here is the proof:

Today that "problem" of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac has been like a serious wound that can not be stopped from bleeding like the flood waters of the great Mississippi river. Presently at 160 billion dollars and wanting billions more it is expected that if it continues as it is it will go to 1 trillion dollars.

                WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!!!
I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.

Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. Don't hear much about those losers anymore.

They should have heard a lot more from us though.

I am in no way commenting on Glass/Steagal when I say this, but rather your grasp on the three branches of government and the balance of powers:

I'm not sure if you know, but the President has an option called a VETO. It's what the Constitution provides for if the President OPPOSES a bill/law that is sent to him.

In short, your comment that he "didn't have any real ability to oppose it" is full of crap!

Chris Dodd retired and got out while he was ahead. Frank is still there but because the Republicans are in control of the House, he is pretty much quieted down much like Princess Nancy. Boy, I wonder how she is liking all that commercial air travel these days. I bet she doesn't go home as much as she used to.

This was reported yesterday: The latest execs who will cash in as they step aside: Nabors Industries' former CEO, Gene Isenberg, due $126 million when he exits as chairman, and IBM CEO Sam Palmisano, due $170 million.

Now, why is it OK for these two to get paid for doing no work for a company? (Don't you guys blast union workers who at least must show up each day to earn their exit package?) And, why do these CEO's deserve such a high EXIT compensation? Let's say for example you took $100,000,000 and paid it out in a $40,000 salary; this could go to 2,500 people. Just a thought and that still leaves the CEO's 26 and 70 million respectively.
Anthony, you are pointing out one of many injustices. I pasted the pink sentence above in the search engine and came up with articles containing that statement. So I am aware of what you are talking about. I can't say that I'm getting the true story behind all of it as all of the sources are leftist. I have learned not to believe anything that cnbc, politico, msbnc, pbs, etc. reports on as they and a leftist agenda twist to it all.

But I will say that there is no justification in reality for such greed. The whole deal is so complicated that there are is no truth to be gained from stories like this, because you don't get the whole story to even base an opinion on other than what they tell you, which has become more propaganda than truth these days.

By the way, have you noticed how one sided that google is in it's search engine? There is more behind google than most internet users realize. In fact they are not even being exposed for their dirty deeds as of yet. One things for sure, they are busy scrubbing articles that do not need to be found, if you no what I mean.

Also BTW, I don't use google for those very reasons.

No i missed it. When you have a debate where you have a loaded leftist media asking the questions and a preselected audience, I avoid it.
