This is your biggest misconception! NOBODY needs to "jump out", for me to get in. The economy and wealth are NOT zero sum entities. Just because someone is getting wealthier, does NOT mean someone else has to be getting poorer. Liberals would love for everyone to believe this, but it simply is not true.
No they don't have to be getting poorer but, the middle class is right now. The wages have been stag net or even going down for how many years now while goods and services keep going up but, hey it's ok but, mark my words something is going to have to give and when it does it may not be pretty.Comment

Tell that to the people looking in the help wanted pages of the news papers. Even if the local truck farm wanted help, who but an illegal immigrant would pick and top onions for 15 cents a bunch? These few jobs are exactly what this thread is about. Cheap abundant labor. These jobs are exactly the ones that you and I pay for and someone else gets the profit. These jobs do not provide health care, but we pay theirs when our bill at the hospital is exorbitant. They don't make enough to pay tax, so we pay for their kids to go to school and garbage pick up or fire protection. That corporation not only short changed them, but got you to pick up the tab. Plus the fact if they are worth little to nothing, you are only worth a little more and your boss is just worth a little more than that. Their pay effects the whole pay scale. That is why wages have stagnated.

Is that right? Do you think they can hold that money in their hot little hand forever? They are going to spend it. This is what it's all about. The circulation of money. Our government and employers have trained them well. Why would they want to take minimum wage job with out health insurance and loose their minimum standard of living.

Show us where it has ever worked in the past, during a depression or recession. Hoover's trickle down, didn't work. Regan's trickle down didn't work. Wall street is doing well, there is no trickle down. The corporations are doing a lot better than the wage earner and there is no trickle down. There is a dam in the trickle down stream. Trickle down is a myth, pie in the sky and it always has been.

It's not about what a man wants to spend, it's about what he has to spend. I'm not saying every one deserves a roof over his head, but if we are giving a deduction for it, it should be a minimum deduction and any extravagance you pay for yourself. That house is a choice not a necessity.

Maybe you could explain this then? You charge for your product or service. The person that buys it will not duplicate that purchase with the existing corporation. Hummmm, Maybe you could cut your employees wages and make your profit from them. Zero sum game, I've heard this one before, if you have a buyer and a seller, it can be nothing but a winner and looser. The amount of wealth is constant. Even if they print money the value changes but the wealth remains constant. The Crony Capitalists don't want you to know that. If that wasn't the case, explain why corporate profits go up and wages go down, or vice versa if the working man was ever that lucky. Wait a minute, that's the answer. Give the workers a huge wage raise and the corporations will never know the difference, because it's not a zero sum game.Comment
