Litie, show me how many of those so called working age sill have their job. They had no choice about retiring. You get old enough and it gets darned hard to run several 8 minute miles in a row, not counting the medical things that just comes from age. Open the job market for professional trained killers and I bet they wouldn't have to worry about that 1%.

The irony is Ryan voted against the job bill for vets and now he votes to take their money, but right after the sequester, he was trying to get more spending for defense contractors.

Gee, that's only $10 this year,$20 next year, probably end up around $500 by the time he dies if you figure what inflation would be. We are talking many billions of dollars. Why should the military man pay that all buy his self. Why not add 1% to everyone's taxes, it's only $10 on 1k.

Guess what, you're all wrong....Everyone of the Congressmen and Senators are the problem....There are billions and billions, maybe even as much as a trillion dollars of waste, fraud and abuse. Now they are not even visiting that issue at all. Fix that problem, the rest of the budget is fixed. Please, someone tell me where I'm wrong.

You and I call it waste, our Congress Critters call it "bringing home the bacon." It's how they get re-elected.

Both absolutely correct. If it could be done, it would ease the budget problem, but the budget problem is just a side show that takes attention away from our biggest problem. That is the recession and the economy that it has caused. If you have money in your pocket, you may not like spending, but it hurts a lot less. How we get out of this recession and prevent another is the big problem.

Then why are you singling out Paul Ryan? There are literally hundreds of others that do even worse with their proposals and votes.

Because Paul Ryan stepped to center stage and called for the spot light to shine on him. Well let it shine on the weasel. The hundreds of others must be smarter than to call for the spotlight.

The highlight of your post is you do recognize right from wrong. You just want to measure it in degrees to suit your agenda. A little wrong is like a little pregnant.

If I brought up he Polosi,"you got to pass it to find out", or Reed or McConnel putting earmark pork in unrelated bills or Reed burying bills, You would happily agree. It wasn't your fair haired boy caught doing wrong. So it isn't about right or wrong, just who does the wrong. Some day you too will probably wake up and get tired of being used by the system. You will try to convince the young and gullible of the errors of their ways. When you do, think of me. Some people live and learn, some just live.

There you go again showing your true colors. By all means single Reps out and don't mention the Progressive Democrats that are the true source of these Compromised agreements.

You're goose stepping and don't even know it. lol

And some people live to learn, but actually don't realize that they haven't learned squat.

Good post(#37) Mud I agree with you 100%!! It is both parties who are working against all of us.
Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.
