You know? If you can't tell who's doing the vast majority of the lieing, then you probably never will. Even proof has and will not sway you.

If these unemployed where working and paying tax, we wouldn't have a problem. Cutting spending does nothing to rectify the economy. It hurts it. Anyone but a idiot knows you make cuts when it's affordable to do so. You don't cut your nose off to spite your face.

Where was these cuts before the recession, when there was some growth and less unemployment? We keep doing the same thing over and over, recession, growth, recession, growth, the debt never goes down, it always goes up. What did they do this time? A cut to some worker Bees and more spending that before, with a promise if cuts after the 16 elections. Would you like to bet on them promised cuts? Most people know this isn't going to happen. The democrats know it. The republicans know it. Anyone not in LaLa land knows it.

So, what did this bill, just do? It made some working people pay and saved some from paying. It's all about who pays the bill, a bill that will never get paid. I have news for you, our children will never pay this bill, just like we didn't pay our fathers bill and just like he didn't pay our grandfathers bill. Our dollar won;t buy as much bread, the bread will adjust to the dollar and life goes on. It's not a good system but it's what we have.
A growing economy is what we need. The question is how to get there? I would advocate to remove the hurdles/regulations that are currently keeping business from expanding it's work force. The War on Coal should be shut down, Obamacare thrown in the trash can and replaced with something that would reduce the cost for health care for all, would be two steps that would bring about growth in the private sector.

In the interim it would be best to slow the growth of government to roughly the rate of inflation. Obama's first budget increased baseline spending, for all but DOD and NASA, by 20% - 25%, or roughly the equivalent of 6-10 years of normal inflation.

Once the economy stayed in the expansion portion of the business cycle, then I would be for reducing government at a quicker pace while bringing in new revenues through some added taxes.

You know you love us. If it wasn't for opposing views, you would have no one to debate with. Can you imagine a all conservative forum? Talk about a dull, slack jaw place.

I don't know, such a forum would be almost free of brainwashed thoughts of input and would lead to volumes of agreements.

Positive constructive conversations without the insertions radical thought processes would be overly refreshing!!!

I can't really disagree with most of the tings you say here. The focus has to ne on creating the lower tier consumer in order to get across the board growth. Spending is the key to kick starting the economy. Amnesia is the key to keeping growth going. Look at the stock market. It's doing well. Why it's doing well is there was massive amounts of money pumped into it with the QE programs and the option the banks have, to invest money that prior to the demise of Glass Stegal, would have been home or business loans. Yes this was spending, but it wasn't targeted at the lower tiered consumer. I was effective. Wall St. is showing growth, but it left Main street in the crapper. Wall St. forgot the 2007 crash, Main St. didn't. The middle class as a whole is saving more money now that before the crash and as a growing economy is all about circulating money, saving is a deterrent.

You need that consumer with a dollar to get small business rolling and willing to spend the saved money to make more. To forget why his scared money is in the bank. The banker needs to forget why he is not loaning money and see opportunity instead of risk.

Low cost coal energy certainly wouldn't hurt. Not just because it makes it cheaper to do business but it frees up a dollar for anyone that heats or cools a house.

Health care is not as much issue as advertised. The cost was always there. It was continually going up and most employers shifted that cost to the employees long ago, in one way or another. It will always be there.

The bottom line is, cutting money out of spending on the bottom rungs of the economy ladder and spending it on the top, just don't work to get growth threw out the whole economy. If any part of the economy is lacking, it just makes the parts that are working, bubbles.

Here is a better picture of just how much these cuts amount to.

racin6mod, The only thing you can be sure of is, if any politician takes campaign funds from a powerful source or any news media is owned or supported by a powerful source, no matter whether it has a D, R, I or even a T behind their name, they are giving you their version of the truth, which matches their contributor's. It's just the way it works and why it works so well. They like everyone, works for the money not the public.

Might there be a chance that somebody IS telling the truth. Since it isn't the RIGHT people though, I guess not!!!

Some real news to think about.

Haters don't really hate you, in fact they hate themselves because you are a reflection of what they wish to be.
