Last weekend was two 20 car trains easin' down the tracks side by side and no matter how hard those two trains tried they couldn't keep from running perfectly parallel to each other.
The Indy Car test this weekend at Phoenix had Helio turning a fast lap barely shy of 191 MPH. Back in November Jimmie sat on the pole for the taxi cab race with a lap that was a full 48 MPH slower. The taxi's are going in slow motion in comparison! LOL!

But, you know speed does not translate to a good race. I don't care how fast their going I just care more how good the race is overallOriginally posted by CIRF View PostLast weekend was two 20 car trains easin' down the tracks side by side and no matter how hard those two trains tried they couldn't keep from running perfectly parallel to each other.

No doubt about that, Kid. But every year that the NASCAR trucks have been at Eldora we can read here, and a few other places, how slow and boring they are compared to the dirt late models. So, which is it? Slow is bad only in some instances?Originally posted by kidrock View PostBut, you know speed does not translate to a good race. I don't recall the quality of past racing at PIR in regards to the Indy Cars. If it turns out to be anything like what we've seen on a regular basis at Joliet, IL, Texas, Milwaukee and California it'll be very, very good!

And those same people saying it's so boring are the same people who say they hate Nascarp as they call it but, there's no denying the races themselves were very good.
Like I said for me it's not all about speed. Don't get me wrong I'm not talking about watching terttles racing but 175 mph or 145 mph doesn't matter to me.

since you don't watch NASCAR wink wink, how would you know?Originally posted by old fan View Postyes the trucks are slow at Eldora but they still are more entertaining than the super speedways or cookie cutter tracks
For your info the trucks put on some pretty good racing on the super speedway tracks
