I don't believe so, when DW left Junior Johnson and joined Hendricks he had number 17 and then when DW formed his own team he took the number with him
Rumors.....ugg

Rick Hendrick is highly famous for hiring men with and dignity. Terry Labonte and Jimmy Johnson come to mind. Somehow I don't see Harvick fitting the drivers with CLASS profile that Rick looks for.Originally posted by CIRF View PostMaybe, maybe not, but either way he still couldn't carry Terry Labonte's helmet bag as a driver or especially as a human being!

Kid, all I know what I see and hear. What I see and hear of Harvick is he's an a$$hole and would tarnish the legacy of a team that helped one of the nicest men ever to race a NASCAR stock car win a championship. That's all I can tell ya'.Originally posted by kidrock View PostI don't have a problem with Harvick. Do really no much about Harvick outside of racing to really know what kind of human being he really is?
Clamped, you make some dead on accurate statements here. Your statement about drivers being whores is spot on.Originally posted by ClampedUp View PostWhy would Harvick want to go to Hendrick and be in the "#4" position at HMS when he is at the top of the food chain at SHR?? Like CRIF posted that #5 car hasn't done crap since Terry left it and there's been some good drivers in it over the years.
I don't buy the loyalty to Chevy BS as race car drivers are the biggest wh0res and turncoats around. I bet Harvick can pretty much get what ever he wants with his close friend Tony.
As far as Larson. I have big doubts IMO that he'll go anywhere other than SHR once his contract is up at Ganassi. That's who Tony wanted in his car but Larson is still under contract I believe till the end of 2017.
I have a feeling Bowyer is going to be a one year deal and Larson takes over in 2018. Plus Tony would support Larson's 410 sprint teams and i'd be willing to bet Stewart and Haas would put him in a ride for the Indy 500.
Heck maybe Haas would give him a shot in the F-1 ride??
The only way I see Larson staying with Ganassi is for him to give him a top notch ride and crew in the Indy 500 for multiple years.
Larson would be a good fit at SHR. Stewart has always praised Larson.
I believe your statement about Larson wanting a top flight ride for the Indy 500 is accurate, as well. I believe Larson's desire to compete in The Indy 500 could possibly have an effect on where he lands when his contract with Ganassi expires. Mind you, that is just a gut feeling on my part but a strong one.
Terry has twice as many championships as Harvick. Until that changes we'll stand by our statement. As I said above, Harvick comes across as a gasbag and an a$$hole, simple as that. I have little regard for mannerless louts. I sure wish Ricky Rudd would have kicked his ass at Richmond and I thought is was hilarious when Montoya backed him down like a grade school recess bully at Watkins Glen.Originally posted by TS FAN View PostHmm, disagree. Harvick is every bit the driver Labonte was. Do not let your personal feelings cloud your judgement. LOL
What you think of him as a person, has nothing to do with how good he is.
Couldn't have said it better myself Rr! I would only add that it was painfully evident that pee wee jr. didn't fit the HMS mold and as we saw, he didn't last long and Rick might have learned something by that mistake.Originally posted by Raceready View PostRick Hendrick is highly famous for hiring men with and dignity. Uh , just a product of bad business advice is all. It's not like he is a rich kid that had his rich father finance his racing career, or getting busted for being an opium user or, even committing a murder etc.Originally posted by ClampedUp View PostPeople on here just love to throw Bloomquist's past out there every chance they get so lets keep it equal opportunity here at 4m..........
