This isn't hard to believe with the drama that has been demonstrated in the past. You just can't argue with the very public history from that group. I will say I've never seen Bobby do any off track shenanigans, not saying it hasn't happened, but I'm not privy to it. I still remember the sister windmilling through the pits chasing some poor fellow, Wild West Shoot Out I think... I never was a Bobby fan, mainly because his driving style IMHO was somewhat disrespectful(slide n' park) but even that has improved with time, but I think he'd be better off if some of the "family" stayed home, or at least agreed to be seen and not heard. I'm thrilled he's learned how to finish a race with the RR quarter still on the car, he single handily disproved some aero theories in dlm about what parts you have to have on the car and still be fast.Originally posted by kidrocket1 View PostWelp...that got interesting, real quick!! What is your point? Wanna know who knew the group real well? Jeff Hoker himself! This isn't new, he has been involved through alot of the incidents you all talk about. In fact, remember Mike Marlar being mad about Hoker flipping him off? Remember Jeff posting about the Tyler Erb incident? Remember Jeff posting more than once about the Davenport speedway deal? My point is not to say Jeff is a bad person, only that we all do and say things that cause others to judge us......right or wrong. Sounds like Jeff felt he was disrespected and decided to take his money elsewhere, I would prolly do the same. This is no more our business than RTJ supposedly getting caught watching porn.Originally posted by Henry Every View Post

When the characters themselves put the drama in the public domain, it kinda becomes the public's business.Originally posted by blncfn57 View Post

Hope the IRS doesn't figure what out?Originally posted by foxfire2dirtracing View Post^^ and tax right off -( advertising)
when Bob Miller sold his coal mining businesses- he phased out of sponsorship of race teams. It was then coming out of his pocket instead of writing it off as a business exspense.
Hopefully the IRS doesn’t figure this out because the racing industry needs these sponsors.
reminds me of everyone commenting on how exspensive the Super Bowl commercials are: consumers burden the cost after final IRS revenues are completed.
Advertising is a normal business expense. Whether that form of advertising is a tv commercial, billboard, sponsoring a racecar, it is all a legal business expense. Hell I have a client that spends more than $1 million a year on radio advertising.

My "first" point is that drama flows out of that team, always has, so hearing what happened is no big surprise. My "second" point was that IMHO Bobby has improved immensely as a driver and its a shame that family members keep bringing the wrong kind of attention to him. Thirdly, since you brought it up and I have no idea why, looking at (legal) porn, though sad, isn't in anyway tied to DLM racing, but running your mouth and losing one of your teams sponsors is directly related. I hope this clears things up for you, I hate to be misunderstood. Let me know if I can assist you further.Originally posted by blncfn57 View Post
