Well if the track is prepped well there will be passing and if it's not there won't be any passing anyway. Saying it will produce better racing for the fan is saying the racing isn't good enough on it's own to keep fans interested. What next? One race to determine the season champ? Bogus debris cautions to close up the field to make the "racing better" and keep a series regular on the lead lap? Those are gimmicks. No disrespect, but inverts are gimmicks too....whether they did it in 1960, 1970 or 2015.

Well I guess we all have our opinions on inverts. I'm not sure how old you are or if you were around when inverts were the norm but, it was pretty exciting to see the drivers come from the back to the front. Example: when Bloomer did at Eldora people are still talking about it. It's one they won't forget. You can call it a gimmick if you wish but, I respectfully disagree.

The WoO point fund is great until you look at what guys are spending to travel around the country.

Guys seem to drawn to Lucas because of TV exposure. Which seems to trump the WoO point fund in most cases.

Imagine Lucas TV exposure with WoO point fund money. Then you could have a top tier series that nothing could touch.

How many of these owners, who mostly have businesses that do not cater to john q public, really benefit from TV exposure?

I think the only reasons woo is behind is their travel and the fact they don't have as many of the "big shows".

Does WoO have the "Two Spin Rule"? I don't think so because I'm pretty sure I remember Yaggy spinning more than twice in a race on a couple of occasions and then get a provisional. If they don't have the "Two Spin Rule, that is something they could really use. If I had known for sure I would have included that in my answer to the survey.

I ran out of characters on the survey, but yeah I've been sent off the track before for a 2 spin rule....and I deserved it. Any driver that spins twice on their own, you don't want to be out there any more anyways lol.

TV exposure is severely overrated. It'll be even more overrated when all that Lucas exposure is relegated to just an internet based streaming service in the next couple years.

And the big shows, Lucas regulars can run the WoO's biggest shows if they want because they're all scheduled on Lucas off weekends. Bloomer generally does.

Your right Josh about Lucas oil running Woo shows. The Woo shows I went to Last year. The Lucas oil Guys won every one. How many of the Woo guys go to Lucas oil Races 3 or 4 ? I still say if Clanton doesn't have a good speed weeks. I don't think he will travel. JMO

If they do have it they dont enforce it. Just about every Outlaw show i attended last year Yaggy would spin or be involved in atleast 2 cautions and continue on.

my biggest complaint is the absurd amount of travel during the season, second would be their inability to schedule shows each weekend within close proximity of each other, and third, woo regulars are a very weak bunch compared to lucas.

I agree, if im not mistaken the weekend after they run local to me in southern Maryland they go to either Michigan or Canada. Thats a lil bit of a hike to say the least.
