These things must be taken in the context of the entire Bible. Many things (laws) in the Old Testament are no longer valid under the new covenant. Jesus addressed working on the Sabbath when the Pharisees were trying to trick him into condemning a man for picking grain to eat on the Sabbath. God is concerned with our HEART more so, than our actions on the Sabbath.

I have yet to see where science "got in my way" where I didn't address your point. I think it is you refusing to address the points and counterpoints I make.

This is an example where Jesus is not speaking literally. He simply means we are to love him more so than our family. NOBODY should push Christ out of first place in our lives. Does this mean we aren't to love others? Absolutely not. He addresses that as well. It's all about context.

As for murders going to hell, murderers, just as any other sinner, will end up in hell IF, I repeat IF, they do not repent of their sin and accept Christ's forgiveness (which is free to ALL who accept it). Again, CONTEXT. The whole Bible is pointed toward the salvation Christ offers. Any sin that someone confesses and asks forgiveness for while living for Christ will be forgiven. The wages of sin (unforgiven) is death.

If Jesus is real, ask him to appear. He says he will do anything you ask of him, so ask him to appear. He doesn't have to be "in the flesh", but could be an apparition or ghost. Take some pictures and get back at us.
