he sat down with his calculator

for a good paying AMERICAN JOB.
At the end of yet another discouraging

checking his

He put on his sandals

poured himself a glass of

and then wondered why he can't
find a good paying job

Lets face it. Only way to fix this is to either raise the standard of living in other countries or to ban all imports.
Or implement tariffs so high transportation costs make importing impractical giving local merchants a chance.
If it wasnt china it would be mexico, haiti, d.r., africa etc. What did china do that was so bad?
It was japan that bombed us, yet no one talks of them.

What the heck? All companies pass the cost on to the customers, otherwise they'd go broke and wouldn't be companies, now would they... And they wouldn't be providing jobs either.... You guys ever think about what your typing?Originally posted by kidrock View PostThese companies would just past that cost onto the the consumers.

But when conservatives had the reins, unemployment was at 4.5% and the economy was kickin' butt..... You do realize our real unemployment is kickin' 14% now, don't ya.... even with the same unadjusted numbers, conservatives unemployment was still way under 7%Originally posted by kidrock View PostNot so fast your conservative party went on a spending spree as well so, that means them as well.

A man or a woman should be paid what their worth, not what the government dictates. Ya know, I don't think I ever made over 55 grand a year in my entire life. And I live dam good and I live in one of the most expensive county's in Calif. It's not the money you make, its what you do with it.Originally posted by kidrock View PostI don't disagree there are to many regulations but, I think you would also agree we need some regulations. As far as taxation if you have more people working with higher wages they will be paying more in taxes therefore the government could give tax breaks to those companies to keep these jobs here in this country but, unfortunately the government will just spend that money instead of being conservative with the extra money. If we have more people making 35,000 to lets say 45, or 50,000 a year just think what that could do for economy. Yes they would have extra money to spend therefore more demand for goods and services.

Who said anything about the government. We are talking about private companies here. Yes you are right it does have a lot to do with what you do with your money but, you have to make it first. What was your combine income between you and your wife was it 55,000?Originally posted by mudslinger47 View PostA man or a woman should be paid what their worth, not what the government dictates. Fixing the government is the top priority before any true reforms can take place.
