Maybe read this article and find out a little of what President Obama has done.
He even allowed Navy personal to claim Agent Orange as a service related diagnosis, for the first time, after 40 year of being denied. They shipped it. They loaded it on planes and dropped it and the brown water sailors lived in it. Denied denied denied.

Your right on VA being better, but I credit Shinseki. Though there are still problems in VA. Backlogs should be taken care of.

After reflecting on it, even the waiting times are getting a lot better in the waiting rooms at the VA. I get in with in 15 minutes of appointment now and had up to 3 hour waits back in the 80s

"Agent Orange" isn't a diagnosis. The diseases caused by Agent Orange exposure are. The only recent change was the addition of "brown water" vets who travelled the rivers near the Gulf of Tonkin being added to the list of troops considered to have been exposed to Agent Orange. That list includes Coast Guard as well as Navy vets.

They also added a few conditions to the "caused by Agent Orange exposure" list. Parkinson's, some heart conditions and some leukemias.

Apply for and manage the VA benefits and services you’ve earned as a Veteran, Servicemember, or family member—like health care, disability, education, and more.
