I know it's foreign to you t.nie, but they are living the way God intended. They rely SOLELY on God and His provision for their lives. Phil said it himself. He thought the idea of filming their lives would never work..........unless God was behind it. They have touched countless lives by being examples of God fearing, respectable and moral people.
The "gospel" according to Phil Robertson, Reality TV Superstar:

"Women with women, men with men, they committed indecent acts with one another, and they received in themselves the due penalty for their perversions," he continued. "They're full of murder, envy, strife, hatred. They are insolent, arrogant, God-haters. They are heartless, they are faithless, they are senseless, they are ruthless. They invent ways of doing evil. That's what you have 235 years, roughly, after your forefathers founded the country. So what are you gonna do Pennsylvania? Just run with them? You're going to die. Don't forget that."

      The Gospel of Christ:

John 3:16 (KJV) "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Notice the REAL Gospel doesn't say anything about sexual preferences, past behaviors, etc. Just that you believe. Your past doesn't matter. Your sexual preference doesn't matter. Your previous adultery doesn't matter. Being a murderer doesn't matter. Many of the greatest men of God in the Bible were ALL of those things in their lives before Christ and some even after. What would Phil think of David? Of Paul? Seriously, if we listen to the Gospel of Phil, the Book of Duck Chapter 1, they are all going to hell. That's not what the Bible teaches. At all.

      Then there's:

      Matthew 22:36-40
      New International Version (NIV)

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b] 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Hmm.... Can you just feel the "love" coming from Phil Robertson when he spews his fire and brimstone, "YOU"RE ALL GOING TO HELL!!!" at everyone else? Go look in a mirror Phil. You are not like Christ in any way at all.

And then there's this, which kind of sums this whole folly up pretty well for me:

Titus 3:10-11 (NIV) Warn a divisive person once, and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him. You may be sure that such a man is warped and sinful; he is self-condemned.

Anyone else not see Phil Robertson is causing great division and strife in the world? His words cut like a knife and all we see is "you're either with Phil and on the side of Right or you're NOT!"

Seems like it's all right there in the Bible for him to read. He just chooses to use his religion as a baseball bat to beat others with. Christians like him just push people away from the truth, not bring people toward it.

      Fire away.

Duck Dynasty's Phil Robertson bolstered by family, fan support

Without patriarch Phil Robertson, Duck Dynasty cannot go forward, his family said late Thursday after his "indefinite" suspension from the A&E reality TV hit for anti-gay comments expressed in a magazine interview.

The Robertson family released a statement on the Duck Commander website Thursday evening in which they expressed thanks for prayers and support. The statement said though some of Robertson's comments were coarse, "his beliefs are grounded" in the Bible and he "is a Godly man."

Oh, and skids, one last thing-- if this is the end of the DD run, then I guess we can all presume God isn't with them any more, is he?

How about the fact that this man's Constitutional right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion have been taken away ? We have become tolerant to homosexuality even though the Bible says it's wrong, yet this man when asked in an interview states that it is wrong and loses his job. And, our current president is setting this example by picking and choosing which areas of the Constitution he wants to follow and which laws he wants to enforce. If Miley Cyrus or Steven Baldwin said the same thing, it would be OK. Just a another double standard in today's Liberally biased media.

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

But because of the temptation to sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.

He's still free to speak and practice his religion. No one took his rights away. A&E just exercised their right to remove him from their production.

As much as some people want to make this about rights or freedom, Phil Robertson is just as free to express himself and practice his religion today as he was two weeks ago. He just won't be doing it as a representative of a show owned by A&E.

You can point to all the scriptures to support his words all you want, but Christ said that what matters is Love God and Love your neighbor as yourself. That's what Christ said and I really don't see anything even remotely close to that in what Phil Robertson says.

Christians are supposed to, by example and in words and deeds, show other people the Love of God and Christ and the Holy Spirit in them. All Robertson has done is make a lot of people think Christians are the ultimate hypocrites, saying Love your neighbor in one breath and then telling another crowd everything they hate about some of the people God created and condemning them to hell.

And by the way, if you are taking the Leviticus references as still holding true as God's Laws today, then next time you eat a shrimp (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)tail you're going to hell.

You can agree or disagree with him, but he has a right to speak his opinion.

What's funny is someone blamed the intolerance on liberals, but if yo aren't conservative enough on this forum, you get red stars . LOL

His freedom of speech was not taken from him. He is not in jail for what he said. A&E has the right to do what they did as well. No rights were taken from either side.

so the arabs and gays are going to continue to rule this country,so if he would have ran in on the set and yelled (Fire) and there was no (Fire) then there would have been a problem according to law he did nothing wrong except offend A & E Gay.
