Results from final appeal. No change. The five drivers are still on suspension. Lawyers will be getting involved soon.Last edited by Dirt Racing #1; 07-22-2016, 12:14 PM.

Assuming this statement is correct, it probably would not be advisable to proceed with court action. Regardless whether a case can be made ( I have no idea) but the costs would be astronomical. Not only would the case need to be made in Charlotte, according to the WOO rule book, but the driver would have to pay all of WOO costs and expenses in addition to lawyers fees. By the time this was adjudicated, their suspensions would be over anyway. They already have $1,250 each wrapped up in the appeal process.Originally posted by Dirt Racing #1 View PostResults from final appeal. No change. The five drivers are still on suspension. If they play their cards right ,enough compensatory damages will be awarded to cover any woo expenses accrued.........and then some.Originally posted by Jet Jockey View PostAssuming this statement is correct, it probably would not be advisable to proceed with court action. The appeal process isn't exactly designed to give the racer any benefit of any doubt.....what, you go back in front of the same 4 guys that think your guilty already?? And then on the final you go before an " independent group ' picked by woo/ump?
That's part of what needs changing.
Or just run open.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

And when the whole deal is unraveled by them , the same four (57,oldfart,huskerskirt, and umpskirt) will be crying foul that the proceedings were flawed.Originally posted by Dirt Racing #1 View PostResults from final appeal. Just my opinion, but if the NFL can suspend players, the NFL hears the appeals, and then lawyers get involved and the NFL still wins, my guess is a precedent has already been set and the drivers will lose in court.Originally posted by Barbecueboy View PostIf they play their cards right ,enough compensatory damages will be awarded to cover any woo expenses accrued.........and then some.

NASCAR has the same type of system. Appeals go to a board (that NASCAR chose the particpants of). Hardly anything ever gets over-turned.
IMO, intent to cheat, blatant cheating, whatever has no bearing at all. Your tires either meet the benchmarks or they don't. It doesn't mean you cheated, just means your tires don't meet the benchmark set by the manufacturer.
