You must work for WRG, I have no other explanation why someone would be so upset about all of this.Originally posted by Barbecueboy View PostWhen I was paying attention I heard bloomer say that about his tires........and when I was also paying attention I don't remember any of the other 4 saying anything of the sort, you?
Oh , that's right.....you already said you knew that all 5 tires were dq for the exact same thing ...you said all 5 were missing something....so which is it?
Me not paying attention, or you?

No $hit! They cheated, they got caught....... it's not that big of a deal, it happens all the time. Guess what? 90% of the time they claim they did nothing wrong. I know that still leaves 10% doubt for you to argue about tho.Originally posted by 00Hdmn View PostYou must work for WRG, I have no other explanation why someone would be so upset about all of this.

You should really talk to somebody......live .....in person.Originally posted by blncfn57 View PostHis comments were about all the tires, it was his understanding that there was something moissing from THEM, not it. Did you also notice he never said they weren't illegal or that he wasn't guilty?
As good as dod is, they have no way of conveying on camera what is floating around in someones mind.............even Scott's.
If that's what you took away from the interview you saw, then that's what you took away..........I've never known Scott to ever speak for others, he is more about Scott most of the time.
I heard it differently and that all 5 were not dq for the same exact reasons you say......maybe I heard wrong.
Again, let's just go check the results of the testing to see what they all came back with......oh, wait.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

Too label someone a cheater and a thief , shouldn't it be 100% certainty?Originally posted by blncfn57 View PostNo $hit! Bbq, from the standard we have in front of us at this time it is 100%. We have all agreed to race with these series and agreed with them checking tires within the format laid out to us. Again, those 5 came back as not meeting the specs that ALL of the racers used on that same night. It seems pretty cut and dry to the majority of us that get checked. Again it looks 100% to me.

Exactly chief...........the antiquated standards used are just that.......the standard today should be much higher when it comes to labeling someone a cheater and a thief with any kind of certainty.
If that isn't what you guys have been understanding me to say on all of this, I apologize........it's certainly how it has been meant.
And contrary to popular belief , it has zero to do with my favorite driver getting caught.....he wasn't in the furious five list.Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

It was you that missed the point. World racing group don't care who doped the tires, accidental or not. It only becomes a rule infraction, when they are raced. The gy that raced those tires gets spanked. They have no way of spanking a trucking company or tire handler, nor would it be effective.Originally posted by dirtdobber45 View PostAs usual youve missed the point....let me ask ya something...Do you know for certain how those tires get from Hoosier to the dealer to the team? I know for a fact that my local dealer gets them from UPS. And that was the point I was making. You dont know how many people have touched(or spilled something on it) that one tire before that team gets it. The only guarantee way that everybody can be 'innocent' before the team gets it is to wrap that tire up and send it in a sealed plastic box. Then its all on the team.
If you run a doped tire you broke the rule. If you wish to protect your name and sue someone for it, take the samples when you buy the tire Then sue them for lost wages and defamation later. I really don't think this will appeal to most running a illegal tire, but I do think the tire testing will get good enough that you will have to run 4 ounces not 5 in stead of 6 not 7.
As far as a poor benchmark supplied from the manufacturer, The last mistake was caught in appeals, we'll see if there is a discrepancy this time. A good benchmark and a illegal sample of a tire raced is all that is needed to find someone breaking the rules. They don't care why, they just don't want that tire on the track. It's up to the racer to protect himself as far as accidental doping.
There may be some hard choices some day. If you drive for a team that dopes, do you quit to protect your name? If the guy in the next hauler dopes, do you turn him in, even if you get along well? One guarantee is there will always be some to break the rule, even if it's the difference between 10th an 9th place.

BBQ , one of my favorite drivers, and my friend, was one of the five. we have talked , but out of respect im not saying anything we discussed on here. BUT, as i said in the saterlee post, until WRG provides full transparency as to EXACTLY what was wrong with the tire, im not condemning any one, JMO.......

USA beyond a reasonable doubt ... Thats what they Should need too call someone a Cheat... I dont care what you say... If they are Wrong on just on 1 of them.. Would you want too be called a cheat, if you know you did not do it..If even 1 of them got the tire at the track, I get a court order for them too test all the tires on the truck thats for sale the next race they go to.. If even just 1 of them dont pass the tires can not be sold at a race track for the next 90 days...and bring in a New Tire Co..
Too Much you say .. well selling Cheater tires you a Cheat.. are you not.. Does not matter how the tire got doped they are selling it...
If I was a Driver this is what I do I get a box of gloves and bags , use a new blade in my knife take a sample put the tire number on the bag and take a pic of you doing it...So if the Tire comes up as a doper you send the peace you have too the lab and then if it comes up doped you have what you need that you did not do it....
Now the Tire co. must PAY........I Know If I was called a Cheat, I spend every Dime I have, too prove I did not do it ..If I won ... I Own them........

I have been at the track just as it opens ...the Parts truck pulls in .. opens the back door .. and he takes the tires he has stacked on the fuel cans and on top of the boxs of oil and on top of the tools and on top of the greasy parts.. and on the floor thats had all kinds of $hit poured all over it more then once...
The tires are not covered at all, bear as they would say ....I have seen things poured all over them... and then they sale them...
How that the driver has them and they have too keep them clean.. A little too late I say..
One parts truck I was on the floor was so slick from all the oil that had been poured all over it for years.....Tires all over the Floor....YOU GET WHAT THEY SALE YOU ...Good Luck Boys

The only thing that matters are the tires that the stuff is baked into.........they won't become contaminated by just getting stuff spilled on them.Originally posted by Cardirt0 View PostI have been at the track just as it opens ...the Parts truck pulls in .. opens the back door .. and he takes the tires he has stacked on the fuel cans and on top of the boxs of oil and on top of the tools and on top of the greasy parts.. and on the floor thats had all kinds of $hit poured all over it more then once...
