So, if there is no tire cheating and all these guys are on the up and up.... why would lucas go to this extreme? Never mind, don't answer that. At this time, there is no change to the process of tire testing like you predicted.
You saying that "changes to the process are coming" was a pretty broad statement. This is racing, things always change...... so you really went out on a limb there! You never offered any info on WHAT was actually going to change, you just made a generalized statement. I could care less what Lucas changes, the point being, nothing came out of the appeals that prompted UMP or WOO to change their process like you wanted everyone to think and the Lucas series trying something doesn't make your point any more valid.
All I have ever posted was MY opinion....... I THINK all 5 cheated and they got caught. That's my opinion and not one thing came out of the deal to prove otherwise. I couldn't care less if I was right and you were wrong or vice versa. If that was the case I would have been on here bringing up all the posts you made about how we were going to find out how bad the system is thru the appeals after it did not happen. I have an opinion just like you do, I don't have to agree with you to co-exist on the same message board as you. I could have made some ignorant post about how UMP had one of the most respected guys in auto racing involved in the appeal and he didn't see anything that warranted overturning the fines and penalties. I didn't do that because it don't matter to me. Had he ruled the other way, I would not have had a problem eating crow over my opinion. I'm asking you to leave me out of your ploy to use a message board to make you feel better about yourself. Changes on tires and how they are policed are coming bud......and just for the record I believe I did state that having a designated area for the teams to mount tires under the scrutiny of the officials prior to racing would be an option as something that could work.

What exactly has changed in the tire testing process? They are still going to use the same "flawed" process for the other 3 tires on the car. I don't see your point. You said the process was flawed, yet they are still going to use it, that = no change.......

Nooooooo......setting up a completely different system than what they have been doing for years isn't change at all.

Sectioning off a place for the teams to mount tires that the series provides isn't change.......

Having the series provide the rr tires isn't change at all.......they do it all the time, right?

I don't in anyway think what Lucas is doing is the end all to beat all......but the fact is , it's a change in the tire regulation process which is EXACTLY what I and many others said needed to and would happen if this sport were to get itself out of the uncertainties on tires.

Jeannie is out of the bottle and with every new tire rule tweak or change so that 100 percent certainty can be achieved, I will remind you of how wonderful , perfect and certain you claim what they used up to the dream was......

In two years you won't even recognize the tire policing efforts as compared to today.....what Lucas is doing is just the start.
