Who do I harm with my belief? If a city puts up a religious symbol and the non-believer doesn't like it, why, if they don't believe it should mean nothing to them. I can not follow their thinking at all. Maybe one of them maroons can explain it to me.
WHOA, WHOA, WHOA. Being of a different mind, does not mean others (whom you lumped in as 'non-believers') care what you do. But, we do care what a government for all pushes and stands for. I do not care that the Montana Capital has the Ten Commandments on its grounds; PROVIDED, you do not care that a Muslim, Rastafarian, Wicca, or Jewish group would be permitted to have a religious symbol placed there as well.

One final question that no 'believer' has ever been able to answer yet. Was humankind created first and then the animals as stated in Genesis 2:7 & 2:19 or was it animals and then humankind as presented in Genesis 1:20, 1:25, & 1:26? Alternatively, can we all admit the Bible was edited/created by man and as such is an imperfect work of faith?

      Animals before man.

In chapter 2, from verse 4 on is a recap of what was discussed in chapter one, but focuses on the creation of man (and woman) in particular. In vs. 18 God said "it is not good for man to be alone; I will make him a helper COMPARABLE to him." This refers to woman. Verse 19 says "out of the ground The Lord formed every beast of the field....." It does NOT say he did it right THEN (after he formed man). It is in a recap context that it is saying he brought the beasts that he had formed to Adam to be named. It then goes on to say that none were a helper comparable to him, thus God created woman.

Well, when they create there own nation, they are certainly welcome to. But this nation was founded a Christian Nation and aught to stay as such. JMO. Your welcome to your own believe regardless how rediculas it is.

Oh, one more thing, if you believe in the Bible, its all or nothing. There is no in-between. Can I answer the mysteries of the Bible and make sense of all of it? Not yet, but I'm still learning and trying.

If would also say that those of you who do not believe that is your right. I just don't agree with you and thats my right. However I would say that if you spent as much time researching to back up this video with the facts that are stated in it as you do researching to disprove them as non fact. You would find that a majority of the video is true. I am not saying that the entire video is the gospel as I'm sure there is at least one concerning the Geneva Bible, and I'm sure there may be a few other mistakes I have not found as of yet, but my research pro V con has proven to me that the video is mostly factual, and just another reason among many for me and my family to live by the bible's values. If you choose not to live by these values that is your decision, and I won't hold you in contempt for those beliefs. But please do not hold me in contempt for mine.

For anthonycacace I have posted this little tid bit for you. There is much more to prove my statement if you choose to search and find it.

Your being an actual human being let alone an American is totally debatable.

I'll start the debate by saying that you are probably a figment of somebodies imagination!!

I like that you took a shot and thanks for someone finally providing such. But, this is not an as written, literal interpretation to simply say 'animals before man.'

As you noted, 2:18, indicates that Adam was alone and thus, the animals where initially created as his helper in 2:19 AFTER he was already here. Plus, 2:20 notes animals 'was not an help meet for him,' further showing they were created after he was in chapter 2.

However, this contradicts 1:20-1:22 as some animals were created on day five. Then, other animals and humankind being created on day 6 in 1:26.

Also, my King James version of the Holy Bible, and others found via the web, do not contain the word COMPARABLE in passage 2:18. Not sure where you found that addition of that verbiage.

                              http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/...18&version=NIV http://bible.cc/genesis/2-18.htm https://www.biblestudytools.com/gene...enesis+2:18-25

So I ask again for a concession that the book is not perfect as written because man is imperfect and a human hand wrote it. If you cannot do such, see the text of what you wrote 2:18 as containing and those provided via weblink, then reconsider.

Nope, you are describing a theocracy opposed to the democracy we have as a govt. system. Also, I would suggest rereading Amendment I as it states "no law respecting an establishment of religion." That would include Christianity the last time I checked. Which means, if you want a Christian display on public land, you also must allow other types the same ability to participate whether you like it or not.

Fair enough on that, but read post above and see if you still feel this way. Just curious.
