My prediction is that Dale McDowell will win the world 100 in the Bloomer chassis.Originally posted by Clayton_Wetters View Post

It would lead me to think the fuel tank ruptured on impact. My point was fire damage may make autopsy more difficult.Originally posted by kidrock View Post
Which could lead one to think possibly of a mechanical issue. The question is did it start before the crash or after.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Fire cannot burn hot enough or long enough to destroy anything toxicology needed to look for...Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post

Is there such a thing as a normal medical emergency? I'm not sure what you're asking me there MasterSbilt. You got to talk to me like a third grader... 😎Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post
What about "normal" medical emergency?
Anyhow, sure sucks old bloomy went out the way he did. If this was a suicide mission that he was on, I'm not so sure he went out the "badass" he spoke of. Sure going to miss that one of a kind Bloomquist personality. One hell of a wheel man!!I'm a copycat wetter... 😎

Something that didn't involve a toxin. Heart attack, seizure, loss of consciousness.Originally posted by Clayton_Wetters View Post

I'd prefer to believe he indeed went out how he wanted, instead of screwing up and killing himself in a plane barely fast enough to kill you.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Okay, I do believe I read that through whatever bone structure or material that is left of any bones, they are capable of detecting these 'normal' episodes, is what I've gathered, from what I've read...Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post

I have no idea what mods he'd done to this plane. Somebody said would do 85mph when stock max speed was 60ish. IDK. Juan from Blancolirio channel said stock was 60HP. Juan's has 85hp "upgrade". I can't imagine that airframe would survive that well hitting that barn at 85mph. Looks like was basically a normal wings level landing but at 45 degrees from centerline of field. Stock has NO ELECTRONICS. No battery. Hand cranked. No fuel pump. Gravity fed carb. No idea how you shut them down? Shut fuel valve? Juan said can land as slow as 40mph. I'd think, on grass, come in at 45mph and close throttle, roll to stop in 50ish feet. So either he passed out after "landing" and taxi'd into the barn or ?????????Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post

That's pretty much where I'm at, its far from a "Badass" exit thats been mentioned. He freely admitted he'd lived pretty wild as a young man and even so 10 or so years ago when he and Randy Sweet were still kickin' it together. Stimulants are not kind to the heart, I'm not saying he was using for the crash, but that kinda history brings the heart into the conversation as a possibility, even a stroke. If it started while he was flying, maybe he just didn't get it landed soon enough. I hate it for his family and especially his daughter. Birky won't be on my Christmas card list, that just wasn't cool, its one thing to think it but another to blurt it out on video. Bloomquist will be missed.Originally posted by MasterSbilt_Racer View Post

I would think there would be a better way to off yourself in a plane than barely bumping into a barn and burning to death. Guy had more confidence than anyone in the world, guys like that don't kill themselves. I would guess medical emergency, plane malfunction, or being up all night on a bender and hopping in a plane at 7am before I'll ever believe he killed himself on purpose. Feel like Birky interview was him getting back at Scott for his one lap one crown interview at Eldora in 22 when he basically told Birky his two miracle last lap passes weren't what he thinks they are with the two whites at Eldora and broken driveshaft at Knoxville. I would accuse Scott of faking his own death before I would ever accuse him of crashing intentionally. It's a real shame because I honestly think he had a couple more magical moments left in him in the middle of the track at Eldora if he ever got healed up correctly.
